Business Process Integration Inventory Management Lead - Contract
(Toronto - North - March 15, 2010)

A high tech consumer products organization in north Toronto is seeking the services of a Business Process Integration Lead for an Inventory Management transformation initiative. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Programs. The business process integration lead will be responsible for the several key projects and additional projects as required. The candidate will be expected to have strong knowledge and experience in Business Process Integration and with ERP solutions, preferably in a fast paced customer oriented service environment. They will be required to consistently demonstrate skills with all projects assigned from initiation through to completion of the project. This is a four month contract that may be renewable or lead to permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management
o    Manage the deliverables and schedules for the project
o    Be able to manage intensive implementation roll-out
o    Lead Weekly Working Level Meetings
  • Business Process Integration
o    Represent the business to IT and business third party suppliers, manage all requests for information.
o    Ensure that the standardized processes for supply chain are implemented.
o    Conduct business stakeholder walkthroughs, including roles and responsibilities reviews.
o    Lead process integration and any process changes.
o    Lead business conversion/configuration related activities (bins / locations setup, etc.)
o    Identify and prioritize gaps, dependencies, roadblocks, then identify solutions
o    Be the business lead for UAT & BRT, including pest resolutions,
o    Lead the business in the system stabilization activities.
o    Support training for team personnel.
  • Documentation
o    Project Reporting, Program Register (impacts, risks, pcrs)
o    Leverage existing documentation of current processes to flesh out the sources of delays in the project
o    User Centric Documentation
o    Track benefits delivery by working with all benefit stakeholders identified in business case
 

Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor degree in a quantitative field required.  MS/MBA with focus in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or Statistics preferred.
    • 10+ years experience applying business process integration in the areas of logistics and supply chain management.
    • 10+ years of relevant business systems implementation experience and proven track record.  Experience with ERP (Inventory) and business process integration highly preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft office and data analysis tools such as MS Excel and MS Access, Oracle.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
