Exceptions Analyst Exceptions Analyst - Contract
Our Client, an industry leading consumer products organization in North Toronto is seeking the services of an Exceptions Analyst reporting to the Manager, Quality and Metrics. The successful candidate will have three or more years of experience in data analysis and/or reporting. This is a three - six month assignment that could start immediately, and may be extended or lead to full time employment. Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor and reconcile order fulfillment data transaction logs from various order fulfillment and systems. · Identify root causes of dropped transactions, systems errors, develop and implement actions plans to correct. · Communicate with users and Channel Partners to resolve data and systems connectivity errors. · Support the design, encoding, testing and debugging of programs or user defined modifications. · Participate in design, development and implementation of systems enhancements, update and document application upgrades. · Supports user acceptance testing for related applications and interfaces. · Document and maintain work instructions and related documentation for tasks performed. · Solve problems related to the data storage and systems integration. Reporting: · Prepare and maintain issue logs and exceptions catalogue, recommends issue resolution. · Prepare statuses on channel partner transaction progress to track implementation and upgrade deadlines and issues. · Monitor systems service Levels and performance and ensure corrective actions are taken place to ensure SLA. · Update and issue weekly and monthly reports in regards to service level attainments and performance. · Weekly reporting and monthly scorecard. Qualifications and Experience:
· University degree or diploma in business, computer science or Engineering. · Experience with business systems analysis, including the ability to discover and recommend solutions, define business impacts and provide technical analysis to current and new applications and enhancements. · Familiarity with Oracle systems an asset. · Experience in defining data formats, record layouts and file structures. · Ability to develop detailed business processes, procedures and tools. · Proven ability to work cross functionally in a technical environment. · Technical knowledge of systems design, update, storage and retrieval methods. · Proven communication skills, both written and oral, strong ability to communicate business and technical concepts. · Able to work independently, yet a strong team player.
